Septembers new album "Love CPR" has gone Gold in Sweden after just a few days of release selling over 20.000 copies.

September's been performing at "Så Mycket Bättre", a Swedish TV show broadcasted on TV4.
In the show, Swedish artists cover songs of each other. The songs sung by Petra can be viewed down here! Mikrofonkåt is available in the Swedish iTunes store and Spotify.
In the latest episode (week 6) September's songs have been covered. Click here to watch those covers!

There's one more cover to come (week 7). When the show's finished, a CD will be released. No info on this CD has been published, but it's unlikely all tracks will be featured. Since Mikrofonkåt has been released on iTunes and Spotify, it's likely it'll be included.

Almost two years after the release of Petra's latest single Because I Love You, Petra is back - and how! Resuscitate Me has been released in Sweden today, November 19th. It's the first single taken from Petra's new album Love CPR, to be released early 2011.

The official music video, which has been directed by Patric Ullaeus, can be viewed down here!

The single is now available in the Swedish iTunes store (here) and contains remixes by Moto Blanco and Buzz Junkies (who also remixed Can't Get Over).

The title of the new September album has been announced. The album is called "Love CPR" and will be released early 2011. The first single "Resuscitate Me" will be released November 8th in Sweden with the video being released shortly.

"Resuscitate Me" is the title of 1st single to be released September's fourth studio. The single is expected to be released later this month.

"Swedish pop artist, September is back with a new single ready to hit the airwaves titled “Resuscitate”. Signed on with the new Swedish label, Family Tree Music she is back in the recording studios. September broke through in 2003 with the song “La, La, La (Never Give It Up)”. Although the songs “We Can Do It” (2003), “September All Over” (2004), “Satellites” (2005), “Looking for Love” (2005), “Cry for You” (2006) and “Can not Get Over” (2007) made the top charts. Petra has been awarded with the title "Biggest Swedish music export 2009"! She was nominated for the title in 2008, but this time she's Sweden's number one music export!
Recently found the new on CatchyTunes.se. It's not really up-to-date, but it's great news!

Also, according to Petra's Twitter, she'll be performing in Chicago, Miami, New Jersey, and... New York! So, US September fans, give it a look!

Doesn't the song Feel It from The Tamperer (featuring Maya) remember you to Satellites? It did remember me from the very first time I heard it. However, this song is from 1998, so it's not based on Satellites, maybe vice versa? :)

Breathe, the song by Schiller (featuring September) has been released in the Netherlands on September 11, 2009 (yes, that's a little time ago!). It's Schiller's first single in the Netherlands. It didn't chart (yet?) and so far there's no CD-single, it's download-only. As you can see down below, the download contains 2 Dave Ramone remixes.

Since Dancing In Orbit has been released in Belgium, an advert has been created to promote the album. You can view it below together with an advert for Desire 2.0, an album by German act Schiller which was released in Poland on August 15, 2009. Desire 2.0 features the Dave Ramone Radio Edit of Breathe, a song with September.

The Dutch release of Because I Love You has been re-released on October 17, digitally as well as a CD single (scans will follow on the forum, keep checking!). Unfortunately it disappeared from the charts already…

September was the support act at the This Is Us Tour by the Backstreet Boys in Stockholm on December 4th. If there’s any video of her performing, please comment!

And last but surely not least: New September album in 2010!
On SeptemberMusic.se: "After a successful tour in the US, Petra is back home in cold Sweden to to write and record new songs for her forthcoming album to be released 2010."

September performed at the Belgian TMF Awards last week. She sung Cry For You, which is the current single in Belgium. It the entered the charts a few weeks ago.

September will perform on tonights (17th July) Big Brothers Big Mouth. I would guess she will perform "Until I Die" but we will have to wait and see.
There is alot of talk that "Cry For You - the album" will still be released 3rd August, if only hard2beat would give some news about it.
After months of waiting "Leave It All Behind" can be heard on youtube after the promo copy of "CFY - the album" leaked this week. The album is worth buying just for "Leave It All Behind" alone. It is such a strong song, would have made a fantastic follow up to "Cry For You"

Guilfest

September performed at Guilfest on Sunday. She sang "Until I Die", "Can't Get Over", "Satellites" (Remix) and "Cry For You" She called "Until I Die" her new single which seems strange... When the music started for "Satellites" it sounded like a brand new song but it turned out just to be a remix. She did an interesting dance to the remix of "Satellites"

I asked her when the new Swedish album would be released and she said she is working on it now and probably next year.

September All Over?

As you will probably all know by now the single release of "Until I Die" has been cancelled due to Radio 1 refusing to play it, though at Guilfest Petra called the song her new single... To add to this "Cry For You - the album" has been removed from various online websites such as amazon and hmv putting the albums future into question. Some rumors mention the album being released digitally on 3rd August.

I think September would have had a better chance if they kept her the way she was, rather then remix the songs and chav her up for the UK market and taking away her creativity. Also the release of "Can't Get Over did not help, "Until I Die" would have been a stronger 2nd single choice.

As someone mentioned on the forum a statement from hard2beat would be good, to let the disappointed fans know their reasons for the cancellation and what there next plans are. I think releasing "Looking For Love" could make a good single choice, it will shown the public a different side to September and it already has a video so could been released quite quickly. A video to the b-side of "Until I Die" which was a megamix of songs is currently being shown on UK music channels.

According to various sites the release of "until I die" has been cancelled due to radio one ignoring the track. This puts the album into question... I don't know why they can't just release it without radio one, yes it's important but cascada managed a number one album without radio one support. There is a big depend for September and people want to hear more.

Here comes a UK exclusive. The track is quite a rare track and many fans have tried to find the song on the internet for awhile but now they can finally listen to the track on CD. Turns out the track was written by Petra herself and there were rumors months ago that Lady GaGa would cover the song. So far in the tracklist this is the only track not to receive a remix. The sound is different to September's other songs which is why I think the song never appeared on a album.

Fan favourite "We Can Do It" will be included on September's UK album released next month. The song sounds like it has been remixed a little and it gives the song some new life. Great to see a track from September's first album and shows this album will not be like any of her existing compilations.

It has been discovered recently that Davone Ramone has remixed the song "Breathe" by Schiller which September does vocals for. Dave Ramone is the man behind the new UK radio edit of "Cry For You" which shot to number 5 in the UK last year.

'Gold' - Aussie release

After Septembers first album release failed to chart in Australia last year, she will try again with 'Gold' on June 12th according to auspop.blogspot.com. Cry For You reached 14 last year in Australia and chart for an impressive 17 weeks. But Can't Get Over has only so far managed to reach 41 and is currently sat at 96 on itunes.

'Until I Die' has been confirmed by hard2beat as the 3rd UK Single. It is a shame we will not hear Leave It All Behind just yet. A new radio edit has been made and will premiere, the song will be released 20th july, followed by the album 'Cry For You' the week after (July 27th)

Im glad Until I Die will get a UK release, It is a much stronger single than 'Can't Get Over which charted at 14. I wish they would release the original though, it is great the way it is.
