"Love CPR" cover and tracklist!

Already available for pre-order in the Swedish iTunes store: September's new album Love CPR! It will feature twinty tracks, the most on any studio album by September until now. On the left you see the cover, taken from the Swedish iTunes store. It will be released February 14, 2011.

"Me and my Microphone"

September's Swedish top hit Mikrofonkåt has been translated to English and it's the "Record of the Day" in the UK. It seems it's the new single there. You can listen to the song below!

September has recorded a new song with Swedish singer Petter: Baksmälla ("hangover" in English).
Petter is the man behind Mikrofonkåt - a huge hit by September in Sweden at the moment!

Så Mycket Bättre

September's been performing at "Så Mycket Bättre", a Swedish TV show broadcasted on TV4.
In the show, Swedish artists cover songs of each other. The songs sung by Petra can be viewed down here! Mikrofonkåt is available in the Swedish iTunes store and Spotify.
In the latest episode (week 6) September's songs have been covered. Click here to watch those covers!











There's one more cover to come (week 7). When the show's finished, a CD will be released. No info on this CD has been published, but it's unlikely all tracks will be featured. Since Mikrofonkåt has been released on iTunes and Spotify, it's likely it'll be included.

"Resuscitate Me" - out now!

Almost two years after the release of Petra's latest single Because I Love You, Petra is back - and how! Resuscitate Me has been released in Sweden today, November 19th. It's the first single taken from Petra's new album Love CPR, to be released early 2011.

The single is now available in the Swedish iTunes store (here) and contains remixes by Moto Blanco and Buzz Junkies (who also remixed Can't Get Over).

The title of the new September album has been announced. The album is called "Love CPR" and will be released early 2011. The first single "Resuscitate Me" will be released November 8th in Sweden with the video being released shortly.

"Resuscitate Me"

"Resuscitate Me" is the title of 1st single to be released September's fourth studio. The single is expected to be released later this month.

"Swedish pop artist, September is back with a new single ready to hit the airwaves titled “Resuscitate”. Signed on with the new Swedish label, Family Tree Music she is back in the recording studios. September broke through in 2003 with the song “La, La, La (Never Give It Up)”. Although the songs “We Can Do It” (2003), “September All Over” (2004), “Satellites” (2005), “Looking for Love” (2005), “Cry for You” (2006) and “Can not Get Over” (2007) made the top charts. Mastering of “Resuscitate” by Björn Engelmann here at Cutting Room Studios."

"Swedish pop artist September is working with producer Cutfather (Kylie Minouge, Robyn, etc.) on a new album to be released in early 2011. Look for the single "Resuscitate me" to be released later this month."

New single to be released in the US!

According to Petra's latest Tweet, her new single will be released in the US too!

New photos have been released! Not sure if they're from the upcoming album, since they have been released on Sturegallerian.se (Sturegallerian is a Swedish shopping mall).

Petra recently announced on twitter that the first single to be released from her 4th studio album will be released this october.

She also mentioned she will be on a tv show in Sweden this autumn.

Biggest Swedish music export 2009!

Petra has been awarded with the title "Biggest Swedish music export 2009"! She was nominated for the title in 2008, but this time she's Sweden's number one music export!
Recently found the new on CatchyTunes.se. It's not really up-to-date, but it's great news!

Also, according to Petra's Twitter, she'll be performing in Chicago, Miami, New Jersey, and... New York! So, US September fans, give it a look!

Beats for Satellites?

Doesn't the song Feel It from The Tamperer (featuring Maya) remember you to Satellites? It did remember me from the very first time I heard it. However, this song is from 1998, so it's not based on Satellites, maybe vice versa? :)

Album pushed back to autumn

The new album has been pushed back to autumn 2010. They still have a lot to do, as Petra says on Twitter... :)

The Release moved until the autumn! We think its better that way, so much to prepare!..I want everything to be perfect before premiere!!Xx

No September at Dance Nation Live

It looks Petra won't be on Dance Nation Live 2010 since she does not appear on the tour poster...

Dance Nation 2010

Dance Nation will be announcing their line up to this years Dance Nation live tomorrow (3rd March) but will September be performing this year? Last year September premiered track "Leave It All Behind" and if she is back this year could we see her perform new tracks from the her forthcoming 4th Studio album.

4th Studio album news

Petra finished 2 new songs! She recorded them in her hotel room which she changed into a studio (check her Twitter for the full picture)!

There's more great news; scandipop contacted Catchy Tunes and they revealed that the first single of the new album will be released in Sweden in May 2010! The new album will follow at the end of the year.

The first lady of Dance Nation has been very busy this month recording brand new material & she kicked of 2010 with an amazing performance for Poland’s biggest TV network! September at "Katowicki Sylwester z Gwiazdami"

Petra performed in Katowice (Poland) at New Years Eve! She did a great set of songs: Can't Get Over, Looking For Love, Because I Love You, Until I Die, Breathe, Satellites, Cry For You and Leave It All Behind! Watch the stunning performance down here!

"Breathe" released in the Netherlands!

Breathe, the song by Schiller (featuring September) has been released in the Netherlands on September 11, 2009 (yes, that's a little time ago!). It's Schiller's first single in the Netherlands. It didn't chart (yet?) and so far there's no CD-single, it's download-only. As you can see down below, the download contains 2 Dave Ramone remixes.

A lot of news!

Since Dancing In Orbit has been released in Belgium, an advert has been created to promote the album. You can view it below together with an advert for Desire 2.0, an album by German act Schiller which was released in Poland on August 15, 2009. Desire 2.0 features the Dave Ramone Radio Edit of Breathe, a song with September.





The Dutch release of Because I Love You has been re-released on October 17, digitally as well as a CD single (scans will follow on the forum, keep checking!). Unfortunately it disappeared from the charts already…

September was the support act at the This Is Us Tour by the Backstreet Boys in Stockholm on December 4th. If there’s any video of her performing, please comment!

And last but surely not least: New September album in 2010!
On SeptemberMusic.se: "After a successful tour in the US, Petra is back home in cold Sweden to to write and record new songs for her forthcoming album to be released 2010."
